Indoor Kids Birthday Party and Party Room Near Newmarket

A weekday birthday right after school

Newmarket families have one advantage when planning a laser tag birthday: the arena in Aurora is roughly 10 to 15 minutes away from downtown Newmarket, close enough for a party on a school night. From Tuesday to Thursday the doors open at 4:00 pm and close at 8:00 pm, and on Friday they stay open until 9:00 pm. A party that starts after pickup can wrap up in time for homework and bedtime.

Weekday parties also cost less. The Special package is $290 + HST on a weekday compared with $320 + HST on a weekend, and the VIP is $390 + HST compared with $420 + HST. For a birthday that falls midweek, celebrating on the day itself can be the cheaper choice.

PA days and days off school

The arena is open on PA days and for private events outside regular hours. When a PA day lands near a birthday, Newmarket parents can plan a daytime party while classmates are free. Call 647.500.8512 to check what is open on the date you have in mind, since PA day schedules vary from one school board to another.

What a 15-guest Newmarket party costs

Classroom invitations often push a guest list past 10. Both packages include 10 players, and every extra player is charged at a set rate, so a party of 15 on a weekday works out like this:

• Special: $290 plus 5 extra players at $26 each, for a total of $420 + HST.
• VIP: $390 plus 5 extra players at $33 each, for a total of $555 + HST.

On a weekend, the extra-player rate rises to $29 on the Special and $37 on the VIP. The VIP doubles the pizza from 12 to 24 slices, which is worth weighing for a group of 15.

Families from Bradford, Keswick and Sutton

Lazer Runner welcomes families from the towns around Newmarket as well, including Bradford, Keswick and Sutton. The packages, prices and party rules on this page apply to every family, wherever the drive begins. Add a little extra time to the meeting time on the invitation so the whole group is there by the start, because every player must arrive before the party begins.

We always have people visiting from Bradford, Keswick and Sutton, so birthday groups from north of Newmarket are a familiar sight in our party room.

Invitations, waivers and the cake

Both packages include an invitation card. If you would rather print your own, a boy’s invitation and a girl’s invitation are available as PDFs on the party packages page. Fill in your date and time and hand them out at school.

Before play, every guest needs a signed waiver. Send parents the link to the waiver page with the invitation so it is done before party day. For the cake, a refrigerator is waiting in the party room. Bring a knife and a lighter for the candles, and feel free to add any nut-free food to the pizza and drinks that come with the package.

Laser tag visits and parties: two different pages

If you are planning a regular visit rather than a birthday, the laser tag near Newmarket page covers walk-in sessions, game lengths and field trips for local schools. This page is about the party itself: the private room, the two private games and the details that make the day run on time. To reserve a date, book online and pay the non-refundable deposit, or call the office at (905) 503-5600.
